QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Abi started her career in marketing but followed her heart and retrained as a Massage Therapist in 2011. Abi’s interest in Massage Therapy stems from a sporting background having played netball for Dorset in her late teens and taking part in numerous swimathons.
Abi is now qualified as a Sports Massage Therapist, with an iTEC Level 3 Diploma.
Abi believe that prevention is better than cure and advocate regular maintenance massages to ensure the body is functioning at optimal level.
Apart from Abi’s wonderful friends and family, she is passionate about her career, further self-development and providing her clients with the best treatment to suit their individual needs.
WHY DID ABI BECOME A SPORTS THERAPIST?
Following a back injury, which after many years resulted in a spinal fusion, this sparked Abi’s interest to understand the anatomy and physiology of our bodies and how Sports Massage can benefit not only injuries but everyday aches and pains.
WHERE WOULD WE FIND ABI IN HER SPARE TIME?
Being a ‘football’ Mum to two active boys, Abi is always on the go. If not at a football match, then she is usually weight training or down the beach taking a dip in the sea. Abi loves listening to audio books, particularly on health, fitness, nutrition and self-development.
